Downton e arredamento

Poche settimane fà la mia amica Beatrice mi ha fatto conoscere la serie TV Downton Abbey - ambientata nell'Inghilterra degli anni '20, protagonista una famiglia nobile con la loro pittoresca servitù - la conoscete? Perché devo dire che a) è bellissima, b) the British accent is THE accent, c) la scenografia e i costumi....ahhhh!
E a proposito di scenografie, in tutti gli episodi rimango incantata a guardare due lampade magnifiche in stile Liberty, quale preferite?!

  

A few weeks ago a friend of mine, Beatrice, has introduced me to this amazing TV series: Downton Abbey, based on the history of a British noble family in the early 20's. Do you know it? Because I have to tell you that first of all it's very nice and funny, secondly the British accent is THE accent, and in the end scenes and costumes are just great! Talking about scenes and scenography, every new espisode I watch, I can't stop looking at those beautiful lamps liberty-style. Which one do you prefer?

Il y a quelques semaines une de me copine ici à Venise m'a fait découvrir la série Downton Abbey, vous la connaissez? Parce que si non, faut dire que a) elle est simplement super, b) l'accent anglais est L'ACCENT et c'est tout, c) la scénographie et les costumes...ahhhhh! Et à propos de scénographie, pendant tous les épisodes je tombe de plus en plus amoureuse avec ces deux lampes style liberty. Laquelle vous préférez? 

Voglia d'estate!

Sarà la nebbia, sarà il freddo o piuttosto gli esami che si avvicinano ma... chi ha voglia di un po' d'estate?

Bon Ton

Plateau, platforms, zeppa..tutti modi per apparire più alte - ovvio - ma anche più aggressive? più sicure? E cosa ne è stato delle scarpe cosiddette "normali"? Cenerentola sembrava adorarle... Vale lo stesso per Manolo Blahnik, sempre fedele a una shape più femminile e più bon ton.
Forse ci vuole maggiore creatività per valorizzare una scarpa dalla forma classica? Cosa ne pensate?
Beh queste scarpe che mettono meno a repentaglio le nostre caviglie, sembrano essere ricomparse ultimamente... Certo la lunghezza della gamba un po' ne risente, però che romanticismo...

Plateau, platforms, zeppa... all ways to appear taller - but also more aggressive? even more self confident? And what has happened to the "classic" ones? Cindarella used to love them... Same thought for Manolo Blahnik, always loyal to a more bon ton and feminine shape.
Maybe the designer needs more creativity to emphasize a shoe with a classic shape? What do you think?
Well... Legs' length it's penalized a little, but on the other hand our ankles are safer, and then, what's a romance...

Plateau, platforms, zeppa... tous des moyens pour apparaître plus haute évidemment, mais aussi plus agressives? Avec plus de confiance peut être? Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé aux chaussures "classiques"? Cendrillon, elle les adorait... même chose pour Manolo Blahnik, toujours fidèle aux formes plus bon ton. Peut être que s'est plus compliqué de donner originalité à une chaussure classique? Faut être plus créatifs? Qu'est-ce que vous en pensez?
Il paraît qu'elles sont de retour de toute façon, notres chevilles sont plus forte, et même si notres jambes semblent plus "humaines", plus romantique! non?

Pourquoi le melon?

Bah... pourquoi non?
Le chapeau le plus charmant, le plus cool, fin le plus tout! Je l'ai découvert à Paris pendant mon Erasmus dans la Ville Lumière et j'en suis tombée amoureuse quoi. Faut pas que je vous mentionne le Prince Harry aussi, qui le port souvent!!!

Ma... perché no?
Il cappello più affascinante, più cool, insomma più tutto! L'ho scoperto a Parigi durante il mio Erasmus nella Ville Lumière, e me ne sono immediatamente innamorata. Non serve che nomini anche il Principe Harry, che ha recentemente rilanciato la moda!

Paris

La première photo que j'ai avec le melon c'est super, graçe à Bao, un ami à moi, qui l'a prise chez une fête pour Rich Owens. Dans la photo il y a aussi mes copines parisiennes Andrea à droite et Chiara à gauche.

La prima foto che ho con la mia bombetta è speciale, un grazie a Bao, un mio amico di Parigi, che l'ha scattata a una festa in onore di Rich Owens. Nella foto ci sono anche le mie amiche parigine Andrea a destra e Chiara a sinistra.


Dans la deuxième photo j'étais au Marché aux Puces de Paris, métro Porte de Clignancourt. J'adooooore cet endroit, tu peux y trouver n'importe quoi, bijoux, meubles, sacs...fin tout!

Nella seconda foto ero al Marché aux Puces, metro Porte de Clignancourt. Adoooooooro questo posto, puoi trovarci qualsiasi cosa, gioielli, mobili, borse...tutto insomma!

mes lunettes Missoni!!!

Eccoli!!! Non era difficile, le mie amiche avevano indovinato! Tra tante montature queste hanno rubato il mio cuore, ok non esageriamo! :)

Ovviamente la scritta se ne andrà con le lenti graduate - sì - non ho bisogno di mettere quelle finte senza gradazione, anche se sarebbe più comodo! Dunque... urge un ottico!!

Obviously the lectering "MISSONI" in the front will desappear with my lenses - and yes - I need the real ones! Although it would be easier with the other option! So...need an optical!!

Voilà!!! parmis les milions de lunettes ces Missoni ont volé mon coeur, ok faut pas exagérer mais bon..régardez!! aahhhhh! L'écriture juste en face bien sur elle va disparaître avec mes propres lentilles - et oui - malheuresement j'en ai besoin, même si ça serais plus simple avec les faux! Donc bref... il me faut un optique!!

Fiera del Vintage, Forlì (RA)

70's and glasses

La fiera del Vintage di Forlì è stata molto carina, e ottima la compagnia! Gli espositori erano tanti, i patterns più inflazionati erano quelli anni '70, obiettivamente anche più facili da reperire in grandi quantità. Gli espositori più interessanti questa volta erano quelli di occhiali, modelli  provati: un numero non quantificabile! Torna la punta stile "occhi di gatto" molto sexy, ma non per tutte! Un paio in particolare di questo espositore (Lamù Vintage - Bologna) mi hanno colpito... quale?? 

The Vintage Fair was great, as well as the company! The stands were a lot, and the most successful patterns were those of the 70's, easier to find in big quantities. But the interesting aspect today was the glasse one, tried on models: infinite number! For the kittenish, their model is back, but not for everyone! A pair especially captured my attention...which one is it??

La Foire du Vintage était très intéressante, et la compagnie super, bien sûr! Il y avait un tas d'objets, robes, vestes...fin un peu de tout, mais la plupart des tissus était en fantasie année '70, plus faciles à trouver en grande quantité aujourd'hui. Le truc plus sympa c'était celui des lunettes, paires éssayés: on peut pas se rappeler! Pour les amants du model oeil-de-chat, c'est votre moment la! Un paire était vraiment génial à mon avis...lequel d'après vous?

Vintage! La Moda che vive due volte

Questo week end a Forlì (provincia di Ravenna) si terrà la fiera del vintage, con tanti eventi collaterali, esposizioni, insomma, da vedere! Io sono già stata a quella autunnale, acquisto: un meraviglioso baule da viaggio anni '30, stupendo. Questa edizione avrà una nuova area dedicata all'editoria e ai new media: riviste, free press e blog!
Speriamo di scovare altri tesori!!!

This week end it will take place the Vintage Fair in Forlì (Ravenna), with lots of events connected to it, exposition, definitely to visit! I've already been there in the autumn edition, what I bought? A wonderful journey- trunk of the 30's. This edition have an editorial cut concerning the new media: magazine, free press and blog!
Let's hope to come across new occasion!!!

Ce week end il y aura la Foire du Vintage à Forlì (Ravenna), avec un tas des evenements tout au tour, expos, bref, à voir! J'ai déjà étée à l'édition d'Automne, achat: un malle de voyage ancienne, année '30, super. Cette édition va avoir un corner dédié à l'éditorie: magazines, free press et blog!
On éspère de trouver des noveax trésors!!!
